The Books have arrived!

ARITSTS of British Columbia volume 3

The books are here! They are available at Chapters, Black Bond Books and many retail book stores in B.C. and Whitehorse. The book features many well known local and regional artists with images of their art and biographies. I'm so excited to be included in this book.
Now to focus on Christmas! have a Merry Christmas everyone.

Well we took down our show today, it was wonderful meeting so many unique and interesting patrons.
Now I'm waiting for my Artists Of B.C. Book,it will be available next month, can hardly wait to see it! Also planning to enter some juried shows next year,so I need  to keep  those  pencils working . Looking forward getting together with good friends over the holidays.

A few pictures from the reception, the three of us met some very nice people, lots of positive energy
and questions regarding our techniques.Wendy did a great job advertising the show in our local papers.
Always impressed with how much the public admires graphite!

Viewing hours are Mon-Sat.10am-3pm, Sun.1-4pm

Lifes Little Pleasures- available 5x7 graphite on paper

Getting ready for my show next month with good friends and fellow artists Beck McMahon and Wendy Mould. Becky paints beautiful scenes in Chinese style brush painting and Wendy another fantastic graphite nature artist." Lifes Little Pleasures" is of a local fisherman enjoying his day out. I like to focus on just the person in my drawings.
This is going to be a diverse show with figurative, nature and scenery by three award winning artists

Little Helper- available 10x8
Good news, Little Helper was accepted into the Federation Small, Smaller, Smallest juried show.
The show runs from Nov.15- Dec.4 at 1241 Cartwright St. Van. You got to love drawings of little kids.

Finished another drawing, I prefer doing people in period costumes lots of layers of my HB pencil.  This fellow was guarding the gate at Fort Langley.  Which by the way is a great little day trip if you are in the area.
